Rebar spine along the bottom with some the first plates loosely setting in place

Math and geometry!

Bottom nose plates nearly ready for welding

80s neon lights for style

(ok, ok... neon lights to hide countless imperfections)

First of many swings at the top. Curves in all three planes sucked

Nose bolt added temporarily

My first swing at the ribs was a strike. The nose accidentally has a pod-racer look at this stage?

Ribs MK2

Each rib was individually and painstakingly fit along the length of the plane

X axis: green curve
Y axis: blue curve
Z axis: red curve

It was about this time that I started thinking an F-117 build with no curves would be more appealing.

Starboard skin tacked into place

I know my welds are ugly, but I'm a wizard with an angle grinder and dremmel so stay with me here

Feed it more mig wire!

Tail ready to be tacked

Still ready to be tacked into place. (Unnecessary picture in hindsight)
