People who litter should lose their citizenship and sent to a third world country

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I started doing this when I moved a few years ago. Cleaned the whole road only for stupid ppl to throw more damn cans... and it's mostly booze

Yeah there’s a lot of twisted tea, Miller lite and fireball nips here.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

AWWW YEAH!! Thank you for doing this! I collect litter on my dog walks; it's amazing how much one collects - and also how much longer it takes for waste to reaccumulate if you nip it in the bud, so to speak. People are nasty.

Yeah my area looks much nicer already!

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So great. Thank you!!

I could use those grabbers for my walks. Can you please post a link to them?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I got it at Lowe’s but Amazon and Home Depot have them as well. These were like 25 bucks

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But do you walk 25 miles a day like David Sedaris? https://time.com/3062558/garbage-truck-named-after-author-david-sedaris/

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Eh more like 2 or 3

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Are those giant tongs? Follow up question: Do you make them go clack?

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yes. And of course.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Follow-up question to my follow-up question: Did you make the tongs, or are they available to purchase somewhere?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I bought them at Lowe’s but they have them at Home Depot and Amazon too

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No ham for you!!

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Too bad you don't have a bigger bucket to collect the human garbage

2 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 2

@OP after deciding to handle human-garbage too, will be fit as fuck after a year.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Where u get them trash tongs?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Lowes. Trash tongs

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You are excellent people! Good job on not giving that ham to dog. Mostly they are cured with curing salt (worse than regular salt for your pet's kidneys). While many stray dogs eat whatever in whatever state, many get poisoned, contract worms or other parasites from rotten food.

I clean up the storm ravine behind my house. At the school on the other side of the ravine, they just leaf blow all the yard trash into the ravine, so it is never ending. Most common plastic product is Capri Sun straw wrappers.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah shits crazy, at the local graveyard they do the same thing, blow the trash into the woods

"Man-made garbage in my man-made habitat? I think not! Into nature with you, because only humans matter!"

Is good to be aware there's at least one like me somewhere in the world.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thanks! There’s another guy who does it near me too, but In a kilt!

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That makes three! Kilts are fine, I hope he's using his hammer to make this world a cleaner one

Do you mind walking once a week through my parents' neighbourhood?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I could probably pencil it in

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Awesome work, @OP! This next song goes out to you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YptMAxonE8

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Aw thanks!

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's awesome! Where did you get those amazing tongs?

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Lowes

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Google trash tongs

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I have a pair just like those from Amazon

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Keep after it. It's always nice to see someone, besides myself, picking up litter. I use one of those grabber thingys also because germs.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah the tongs are awesome!

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thank you for restoring beauty to your neighborhood! I pick up trash regularly myself, often in parking lots when out shopping. I wish more people did this.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It’s a lot of fun now that I’m into it

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Can I pet your ham?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You found the rum ham!

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I stole it from the guidos

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What kind of bags do you use that fit a 5 gallon bucket? I use one for cleaning up after my dog and the kitchen trash bags seem wasteful

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I bought some compostable five gallon bags online

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'll look for that. Thanks

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That makes me think I could just empty it into the yard waste bag when I mow the lawn, too.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hiking crocs?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yup!

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Good man!! I, too, am the self-designated trash collector on my street. It looks so nice when I'm done--for a day.

2 years ago | Likes 211 Dislikes 0

You see the problem is you’re not picking up the real trash, the fuck wits who litter

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That would make my bag too heavy.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Wood chipper fix that problem I think humans are compostable

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Messy, tho.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Captain planet approves this! Motivating the next fella, thanks

2 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

Petition your city to put a sign up thst says littering punishable by fine

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I love where I live in Sydney, our local council picks up all the litter, maintains the parks, mows the grass next to the footpaths

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

That's a nice grabber. I got mine from the dollar store and reinforced it and put interchangeable tubes on for different grips. I fuckin love picking up trash.

2 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

You'd go absolutely insane at my house. Due to some weird physics of the location, there's a near-constant wind blowing straight at my house from across a school parking lot. So. much. trash.

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Bag it and return it to the principal's office ?

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I live in the corner of the street. No matter which way the wind goes, I get it all!

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm on a corner, too!
