I nicknamed a former boss Chip because he always seemed to have a chip on his shoulder, particularly towards women. He never stopped me from calling him it or the others it caught on with, and he never asked why I came up with it. Idiot.

No one stood up to him, so he felt safe doing it. His home life is shit so he got his power breaking us. I was the only woman he never made cry. I've dealt with men much worse. He once verbally abused a pregnant woman until she broke down sobbing. It was her 2nd pregnancy, the 1st she lost from stress. He reamed another girl so bad in front of customers one guy came up after threatening to punch him, said punish in private, praise in public. Old Navy doesn't care tho, he makes them big $$$.
