I've been using GoDaddy for years, but I think they are really overcharging me. Thinking about namecheap.com, but their reviews aren't stellar. Any suggestions?

Part of it, is what are your needs? GoDaddy has some of that go to overhead of ads. Next is, if you transferred will GoDad transfer? Need >

> to check that as well, some experience in the past. Some webmaster sites lock the html to prevent you from leaving. Without lose domain.

I'm pretty sure they can't and won't lock the site... I mean it's locked for security, but I can initiate a transfer.
