You have to mute users now. I have politics and Israel/Hamas etc blocked, still see the garbage. If a post pops up, I just check the poster's history. More than 1 post on the topic, they're on the block list. No hurt feelings, no one knows, cleans up my feed.

I've been doing it since 2016 and apparently I've done pretty well, because I only see 5-10 posts in an hour or two. I hate that I see that many, but it's better than it would be otherwise
