The war against women’s right to choose what happens to their body took a terrible blow this week. Texas has turned upon women and is encouraging hiring bountyhunters on people who seek or help a woman terminate a pregnancy. Some of their leaders have even taken to dehumanizing woman and calling them host bodies.
Women are not hosts to incubate fetuses (to even think that is to imply the fetus is a parasite, IMO). I understand misogyny, but I’ve seldom see such blatant displays of callousness lack of empathy.
