There are far worse problems….

Back story: Been out of work for a year and a half after losing my job and getting pregnant. I live in a tourist town in a country where I’m not fluent in the language and jobs here are like gold dust.

I finally felt ready to go back to work after having a C section and started applying for jobs.

Immediately got a job offer but it seemed kinda sketchy. Got another job offer shortly afterwards and although it is seasonal it is a lot more secure and the hours are workable. ( the first one had 4am starts and midnight finishes in the same week).

Then unexpectedly I got a call back about a third job. It’s permanent, it’s well paid, I’m uniquely qualified for it, and it’s with a prestigious company.

They booked a screening interview for me tomorrow and I am bricking it with nerves. If I got this job… oh boy.

And at the same time I’m deeply grateful that I have the seasonal job to fall back on and to have had two job offers is wild as hell.
