There are many kinds of intelligence
We tend to value certain kinds of intelligence more than others. But people, like ice cream, come in all flavors. Some are great at science, others at reading deeply, and some at painting or surfing. As an academic, I have learned to respect all kinds of intelligence,even when it doesn't match my own strengths.
