While I like the sentiment, and the Biden admin should get credit for facilitating the law, it’s all of us who are paying for it…not the law makers, not the president.
They should rename stretches of highways and bridges to Dark Brandon road and so on. Rub it in their faces every time they go to their minimum wage job they get there on time is because of the new bridge.
Seriously, it should be like, "Oh, you don't want to vote for a bill that benefits everyone and just be obstructionist? Cool, we'll just let you go it alone then. Including no more federal aid by taxes levied from other states. Seeya!"
I used to hide a line of credits with my name, employee info, and date of creation on all my work projects because my manager would constantly steal my reports and pass them off as his own. This all brings back very annoying memories.
Not even. Just need number of republicans who voted against vs total number of republicans. Cuz it’s like 90% voted against or something very high like that.
At least the reps that voted against it in each state. Knowing Ted Cruze voted against it, seeing his name on Minnesota isn't going to help me vote him out. But knowing Pete Stauber from Minnesota voted nay will help me to inform friends and family that live in his district to vote him out. (I know Ted Cruze is in the Senate, and Stauber is in the House, I'm not sure if Ted voted nay, but he was the first Republican to come to mind)
I mean I figured it was a pretty sure bet that he voted nay. But I wanted to cover myself in the very rare occurrence that he actually voted not a long party line.
No, don't mention them, that will them give credit only: "Following Members of your state helped " Then insert senators and congress members which said yes. A negativ message on a positive message can be seen positiv. Not showing the names and only the ones which helped is better. Lets say in Georgia you show only D Congress Members which helped and not MTG, it would be catastrophic for MTG not to be in the mouth for the Bill. She screamed all the time and she wouldn't even got mentioned?
The Republican response would be "See, I stood up to Biden while he gave your tax money to gay-trans-child grooming-job-stealing-welfare stealing-commie-pinko-druggie-baby-killing-woke-socialists. " and their voters would buy it.
Funnily enough, the EU does it too! Walked past a few construction sights with a small sign with an EU flag and which department helped finance the project
It’s required by eu law to remind the public who’s paying for infrastructure. Some countries are net receivers from the EU and it’s only fair the realize other countries are paying for it.
Even with the reminders Wales voted heavily for Brexit. There were signs all over the place with EU funds paying for infrastructure, so it can be taken as a case of where media propaganda won over the facts.
Propaganda is incredibly effective. It’s designed to appeal to sentiments not to reason; to fuel fear of the unknown, emphasize the “they vs us” when “it’s only us who are deserving” and “they’re taking what’s ours”. That’s why they fight so hard agains equality and inclusion. Someone has to to be blamed and it can’t be “us”. Also if we share with “them” there’s less for “us”, whom have been unilaterally identified as the righteous owners. There’s no reasoning w propaganda only a hard stance.

If a bill would do something good and helpful for people, you can safely bet money you don't have that Ted Cruz voted against it.
