There's this crazy thing I do where I just ask if people are okay, need help, time off, supplies, raises, ect. And here's the trick, you do it regularly, and you don't punish them for using said resources. Makes people happy, helpful, and productive! But the fuck do I know, I mean no one's ever quit and two people who retired come to visit but that's just coincidence, right?
