I remember when my only means of getting online was dialup at 14.4k, eventually moving up to 28.8, 33.6, and finally 56k. Having the ability to pull anything up on demand was game changing, being able to do it faster was life changing.

Before all of that I spent my time on local BBS systems, playing door games, downloading new tools and games to try, and interacting with some of the other locals.

Fun times ?
