We’ll need twin vickers by the bar, and a Lewis gun on the sofa

Technology is frequently hidden, but when it works, usually awesome.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Isn't this kind of how the AK-47 works?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In the sense that it they both have a long-stroke gas piston and a rotating bolt. It's a common and effective setup.

But...it's upside down!

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Right... the lewis gun. That's totally the first thing I thought of when I saw that. Definitely.

I think I would prefer mine in Red.

Have there been any good Gundam anime recently? I feel like the last one I liked enough to watch was 10 years ago.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Iron Blooded Orphans is legit as fuck, I also enjoy that it handles lasers, fuel, and everything else in a very grounded way with combat

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The Origin and Unicorn series of OVAs were good if you're into UC gundam, Iron Blooded Orphans was good too

Goddamn Principality of Zeon...I miss the Char/Amaro rivalry and now I feel old

The design/mechanics/and physics behind this bad boy were God-level for the era...!

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The p90 is an incredible bit of engineering as well.

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

quite simple actually. Innovative, but simple - ideal engineering. Check out the F2000 or FAMAS [f1] for some interesting kit.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No question. I amazes me that people compare them to other bullpups.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

IIRC the P90's innovation is different, in that it rotates the round before it enters the chamber from above, then it's pretty conventional

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Hardly conventional. the 5.7 round is innovative in itself. a bullpup like form + fast feed and high cyclic rate make it unique.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

yea, but that gives it a 50rd mag in something just a bit longer than your forearm, and most of the power of a larger rifle.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

it's 5.7 - a skinny pistol round. it's bullet design allows for light AP action and weight. A quad-stacked stick mag offers same results too

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah no. In its more common loading, it's on par with a common .40S&W. An AR-15 round (common) is on the order of 2.5-3x more powerful.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

sounds pretty good, as guns go.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Also it pushes the rounds back to the rear, so you get the extra barrel length. does that make it a bullpup? I'm British, we're q. clueless.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RuSkNq7JZLo ...yea, i think that qualifies as "bullpup", but i am also not an expert.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The action and most of the magazine is behind the trigger. So yeah, pretty much.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sounds good, but he's very wrong on power levels.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I was gonna say - the rounds are visibly smaller than 7.62’s... but I’m not exactly a pro; here in the UK you do some cadet training (1)

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fuck yeah! Infinite ammo. Been watching for 20 minutes and it still hasn't run out

5 years ago | Likes 176 Dislikes 1

It's slow motion!

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

641, 642, 643, 644...

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Now you've got to explain how it keeps refilling itself :p

5 years ago | Likes 505 Dislikes 0

You're clever, but it's pan feeds all the way down!

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's powered by the second ammendment YEAH! "EAGLE SCREAMS GUNSHOTS AND EXPLOSIONS!"

It's the Heros gun, obviously.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The pin on the left side is pushed back by the blast created by the bullet leaving thr barrel. Brilliant

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not quite. There should be a tube around it. The expanding gases at the muzzle force the bolt carrier back.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Bandana?

5 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

Bought? Dirty capitalist.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

smells like proletarian spirit

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

And it never runs out of bullets. Leftists hate it!

5 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 24

Even someone who hates guns in civilian hands doesn't have a problem with something like a Lewis gun. Literally designed for military use.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

Not saying I'm one of those. But don't be dumb.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

I think you have leftists confused with liberals; leftists are quite fond of arms

5 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 9

U right. In the hands of police and militia

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 12

lmao hang on I've got a cursed picture for that

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It messed up the shade of blue but still

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Arms for the poor right? Right?!!! I'll show myself out

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

I'm Muttley laughing right now

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't think you know what a liberal really is.

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 7

The actual meaning of that word has become so diluted that it's basically meaningless at this point.

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Very true, which is why some people are trying to clarify its meaning again.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pretty much necessary to start such conversations with a list of definitions. Not practical on Imgur.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Off the top of my head, a republican who broadly favors an egalitarian society with a regulated capitalist economy?

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 4

Liberals are generally moderates, not Republicans. Although if you believe they are, why would you think they hate infinite ammo?

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

It upsets the bullet market economy

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There's a reason I didn't capitalize the word republicans.
