Earlier in the evening like 5 or 6pm the moon was fairly up therenin the sky. Got home around 8:30 ish and it was very low over the horizon. I posted it on fb and of course got smartass answers from people until I had a chance to do a Google search. The moon actually has a very different schedule with rising and setting. For example here it will rise at 11:10 this am and set around 9:30pm. New tidbit learned.
