The Emojis capture their emotions pretty well. My oldest was immediately brought to tears, the middle child said she was going to lead the cheering when it started (and she did), and the youngest was simply awestruck.
It was so amazing, we are thinking of the possibilities of planning a trip to Sydney Australia for the eclipse on 2028 (my wife thinks she might also see Hugh Jackman)

I was lucky enough to witness totality in Maine with an absolutely clear sky for about 1.5 minutes. I only wish images/videos could do it justice. There's so much more to the experience that I can't put into words. Once in a lifetime for me.
