It’s not so much the fit as the cut. The gent next to him is wearing a suit that is not only tailored to fit him, but is also cut to match the trend towards a sleeker silhouette. Trump’s suit is of an older style with straighter/baggier legs- stylistically from the late 1990s. That’s either an old suit or he hasn’t updated his styling in 20+ years. (My guess is that it’s the latter.)

It's funny because it's kinda delusional; they're all chasing a tiny minority of the population. In my experience it's also usually shorter women who are the most picky and as a result I tend to have dated taller women almost exclusively.
I live in one of the tallest countries globally, and less than 5% of the population are over 6 feet tall. They're locking themselves out of 95% of potential partners.

Meh- I’m 5’8” and it doesn’t bother me at all. I can drive any car I want to, I generally have enough leg room, and I don’t have to go to specialty shops to buy clothes that fit.
As far as I can tell, being taller is really only useful for attracting shallow people.
Not to say that there’s anything wrong with being tall; I just don’t see any real benefit to it.

I am also 5’8” and have a good friend who is 6’3”. We did a study abroad in the UK for a month. I was MUCH more comfortable than he was the entire trip. “I’m a tall man in a small country” he would say. he had to bend down to wash his hair in the modular bathroom shower the dorm rooms had. By the end of the trip he was saying how he’s going to build a guest house that is only 2/3rd normal scale just so people can know how it feels for him.

I saw in another post that he was wearing his two inch ̶h̶e̶e̶l̶s̶ lifts, his eyeline is at the kings mouth level, which makes him about 3 inches shorter, with lifts. Ol' Don Taco seems to be about 5'9", or so. Taco may be 6 foot in heeled shoes with his little two inch helpers. The kings height is listed at 6'2", so I'm not sure why this says he is 6' even.

Also, see the difference in what a good tailored pant can do for you. Trump's suits are always too big, he lets them altered in the height but he needs a tapered leg. Tapering on the leg makes you look taller but that would probably show that he wears heels and weird shoes.

I can see that he may have had personal trainers etc to be fit for the 2016 elections. But in 2021 you saw a totally collapsed Trump from the posture, so he most likely had no training between 2017 and 2021. And regaining strength at age is far harder. So him now 2 inch shorter is totally plausible and an indication of bad health. Trump lives in the past when he was 40 and 6'1" and only weighted 215 lbs, and ignores change on himself or the country.
