Unknown fossil found in a rock outside of my son's doctor's office.

Unknown fossil found in a rock outside of my son's doctor's office. We never miss a moment to look for unusual agates or fossils when we step outside of any office with rocks for landscaping. This one happens to be the best one we've found yet, but we don't know what it is! Any guesses? Penny for scale - the fossil is above it.
