As per my last comment….

Original stand

… I cut one stand the length down, chopping of about 2cm then tried to fit it in. Perfect fit, no need to cut both sides!
I thought this was the easiest way, so I grabbed the reciprocal saw and went at it. The cut isn’t the straightest but I knew someone would need something to bitch about.

Also added padlocks

With a little chopping and drilling, worked out good.

Before reading I thought it just magically fit perfectly and I was going to say you hit the fucking jackpot. Congrats on the shop!

I’m stoked, can’t wait to start putting the tools I have in there and I’ll be buying some new tools, and actually start making stuff.

The infinite loop of buying more tools. What sort of work do you do?

Mainly hobby woodworking, I already have some tools, my son wants to do some metalwork

Sweet dude! Metal is fun and pretty easy to get into.

My son is a trained “Industriemechaniker” with further training as “Techniker” , so I’m sure I can learn stuff from him
