Added a dedicated Boil / Whirpool vessel to my setup. SS Brewtech Kettle 10 BME is designed for use on a gas burner, but a heating element fits in the thermometer port. This puts the element around the 4 gallon mark inside. We’ll see how well it works in testing this weekend. It should work based on an old thread I found on homebrewtalk. Old kettle (right) is now dedicated to Mashing and Lauter. This will allow for fly sparging, hopefully being more efficient, safer and less messy vs my old method of pulling the brew bag and ‘dunk sparging’ in a 5 gallon bucket.
