Black Pepper has grown into a very handsome rooster. I just adore how he looks like he is wearing a puffed collar and how his feathers shine. He is a tiny king but always respects me when I enter the yard. Also, someone said he looks like a 1920's oil tycoon and I cannot unsee it.

He is a Frizzle. The chicken frizzle feather is due to an α-keratin (KRT75) mutation that causes a defective rachis. PLoS Genet.
