@OP You are not alone in seeing this bug. It is absolutely not intended and we've canceled the latest release. It was available to 1% of users, and we will fix and re-release the update as soon as possible starting Monday.

The ad promoting a gambling site is a bug as well? As indicated by this screencap, their service is harmful and abusive to your users, which is against the post rules for us regular non-advertiser posters.

Imgur says they have no control of the ads showing on your screen. Apparently. I think that’s just how advertising works. It’s not great.
