They're not even ashamed in the slightest. The broligarchs are plundering our nation like a rum-sodden Captain Jack Sparrow alone in Tiffany's.
(PS: I think Musk's shirt says "Scum Arse."
MV Edit: Just keep resisting in every way imaginable. We're all in this together.

Yes, resistance is happening. In small ways. In small pockets. Our brave protesters; Bernie and AOC; Alt National Park Service; everyone calling and writing their representatives; many others.
But the people who could really be putting the brakes on this massive robbery of our nation's resources - Congress and the Supreme Court - are either applauding because they've got their hands in the till also, or they're terrified of losing their power, or they're hiding in the basement and drafting sternly-worded letters.

Disgusting GOP Cowards, Mercenaries, and Traitors.

I used to do a lot of gov contracts. The simplest rule was "if you do something for one company, you do it for all of them." So, if other vendors aren't getting the same meetings, there's a high potential for protest. But that's in a normal world

Congressional approval is needed for this.

Trump: "Hold my Trump branded water."
SCOTUS: "Nothing to see here, move along now." FFS...

It is an amazing power, being the smartest and strongest boy in the park while at the same time being a powerless victim of entities beyond your control.

So literally just blatant corruption. Cool. Super glad half of America thought this was a good idea. Sadly the half that will likely fall victim to the repercussions of this…
LumpPump
more like 2/3rds since it sounds like more than usual non voters cause people pRoTeStInG gEnOcIdE thought it would be a good idea to sit out & see if hilter or lesser evil that, at least probably wouldn't cause a genocide even if they are shit a preventing/stop it weren't good enough would win instead of idk prevent the Hilter-like one at least from being able to cause more genocides?? anti genocide yet pro sending people to prison cramps, cant say they arent cause they didnt have interest in-
LumpPump
-stopping what was coming, it dont make any sense letting your own country become a shithole cause you want to stop a genocide elsewhere.. if we have genocide at home how are we going to have the time or people to help out properly elsewhere? yeah it fucking sucks the dems are shity at doing anything useful cause they probably got the bribes too, guess you okay with what trump is doing sending people to their deaths? their blood might as well be at least splashed on their shoes cause theyWatched

Drain the swamp!
Drain the swamp!
Okay, now fill the swamp with worse swamp people!
theshinobi23
I've said from the beginning of his first term, they'll drain the swamp and fill it with sewage.

As a floridian, the swamp is beautiful pristine wilderness that my family has relied on for generations for hunting and fishing. So fitting then that the evil bastard would use destruction of nature as a rallying cry
Filanwizard
I think trump really is sincere in draining the swamp, However he left out the part where he refills it and now all the gators bend the knee and kiss the ring and never question him.

The emoluments clause is the weakest of all the weak-sauces. Like politely asking the slasher in a horror film to spare you out of the goodness of their heart.
AyatollahBahloni
You're absolutely right. But tbh, it has never been so resoundingly raped than by the current piece of baboon shit in the White House.
Bunnies007
Or like a Trump-voting government worker asking Trump if an exception to the mass sackings can be made in their individual case.

not to sound like a raging sociopath, but this is one of a few bright spots in an otherwise dismal year. I refer of course to the FAFO vibes that everyone who voted for trumplestiltskin has slowly started to experience. I see a ton of twitter screenshots of people who "didn't vote for this", and then have no actual shame for the vote itself. They just want to ask for help after DOGE laid them off. Let's see what the leopards think of them and their faces.
icantbelieveistillhavetoprotestthiscrap
There's no public will to punish Republicans for malfeasance. They've been doing this shit since literally Nixon, but people always say "both sides" or figure out a way to blame the Democrats. For crissakes they overturned ROE. If they'd been voted out because of that (like they should have been) it would have been the progressive mandate we've been hoping for. Instead, the public IMMEDIATELY fell for the obvious right wing narrative of "Obama should have codified it!" and went after Democrats.
icantbelieveistillhavetoprotestthiscrap
Think about how stupid that argument was. It's literally the Supreme Court's job to declare laws unconstitutional. There's nothing they could have passed that a bad faith court couldn't overturn. But people were so desperate to blame Dems they went with it anyway. We're like an abuse victim who has the power to leave their abuser but instead blames everyone else for not saving us. They do it because we enable it.
icantbelieveistillhavetoprotestthiscrap
And now, I'm counting the days until they overturn Obergefell, and I fully expect the marching morons to start crying "this is Biden's fault for not codifying it" instead of HOLDING THE PEOPLE RESPONSIBLE ACCOUNTABLE.
AyatollahBahloni
All points spot-on, tragically. It's a thermonuclear dumpster fire of stupidity and hate.
icantbelieveistillhavetoprotestthiscrap
Thank you. Sometimes I feel like I'm pissing into the wind trying to explain it to people.
