Just be honest and say you don't want to, if you work with servers than you should have enough knowledge to do basic user troubleshooting.

You would think so but I've spent 6 months asking the devs at my job to document the end user PC dependencies for their own app

If they don't know what libraries and/or frameworks their own code use you got bigger problems.

Stop I can only cry so much. LOL. They are just kicking the can on some acquired legacy software and no one knows how it works

But not every fix is basic user troubleshooting.

Sure but for end users that always comes first, then if an RMA is needed or if it's a bug outside your control, then tell them that

Like the user probably can't even generalize the problem, if you work with servers you should be able to do that much.

Too serious take on a cartoon just for the sake of an idea to put on a smile...while being right ?

It's not too serious, there's nothing wrong in saying "I don't want to". It's better than lying at least.

I meant.. this cartoon is not a real problem of my life nor did I make it. I just found it funny and shared. I referred your take serious.
