A week in the life of a teacher! Week 1 is over. LOOK AT WHAT YOU DID, IMGUR!

I almost died at this intersection this morning on the way in. A semi ran the light as I was turning and missed me by about a foot. Nice. Not pictured: My dirty britches after that.

Our campus badly needed paint, and we got it over the summer! The building looks great now. Yes, I know you can see my government name. It's OK - this is a public account.

ROCKETS! The rockets y'all bought are here! You all collectively raised close to $3,500 in exchange for some memes. I love it. You are all amazing humans.

I am so excited. It's a shame we have to wait until April.

This is Fweej the Overseer and he says hi. A student of mine made Fweej for me last year.

Rockets stacked up. I'm still waiting on the engines and a few other things still and I'll post when they come in. And don't worry, I did turn the middle bottom box around so they all face the same way. I noticed it halfway through a lecture and had to stop to fix it.

Me, looking daper as always. We start each period by seeing what the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico are doing, in case it impacts us. (I like to call it the Gulf of Space X Debris.) Today's kilt is black, and has the colors of the rainbow in the pleats.

Next week the kids will continue learning about variables and the scientific method. I'll start doing labs as soon as I have all the lab safety contracts back.
