Irvine, CA, USA
What I like to call a "ghost" interchange. The soil was graded in preparation for all four ramps to be paved, but planners (probably) decided later that they were unnecessary and/or would have created traffic problems.

Adelaide, Australia
The street layout of the city centre is fascinating. There are FOUR distinct grid orientations, almost as if, in the beginning, there were four separate townsites in competition with each other. To top it all off, this mess is almost completely surrounded by a bunch of parks and golf courses and stuff.

Brasilia, Brazil
We all know that cloverleafs are inefficient and dangerous, but how about a three-in-one? There are several of these things in this city.

Chelyabinsk, Russia
Ridiculously long streets. Almost as if they were intentionally designed to make the residents miserable.

Christchurch, UK
The home owners refused to sell (probably), so the motorway was just built around them.

Brook Park, OH, USA
Not just your average cemetery.

Bari, Italy
The biggest frickin' roundabout I've ever seen.

Riverside County, CA, USA
A trumpet interchange whose inner ramp has an insanely short turning radius.

You can tell that only a few of these city planners played Simcity.

Some speak of Swindon's Magic Roundabout, but I prefer Hemel's

Very cool. Fun to see stuff from above and realize how silly it is

#1 Dunno what they're called in english. In Germany, couples write their names on a padlock and lock it to the railing of a bridge.
geraltofriva
They had to cut thousands of them down on some bridges, cause they got too heavy.

#2 Mate, it's not the ramps. There isn't even a freeway there.

You should get your eyes checked.
