I worked with an illustrator for my game Reclaimers early last year and we came up with this design. I thought it turned out pretty cool, the illustrator was amazing and very experimental, which I highly appreciated!
I especially liked the sword coming towards the screen, and the lighting looks excellent. Love your thoughts (:
