What bug this is??? termite?

These are all over a stump under my deck!
What should I do?

Had these by my front door. Called terminex to do termite treatment. Been good since.

They look like flying ants. The young princesses are looking for a new home.

Ants wing pairs are different lengths. These are the bad bugs.

Borax will kill them without the toxicity. Since they are in the stump minding their own and not your house, why not just leave them alone? They only like wet wood, and would only attack your house if you have a leak in your roof.

The old stump is probably the only thing saving the deck they probably were eating that and are ready to move on to something else

These are termites. Not ants. Ant wing pairs are different lengths. Either read up seriously or call a pro. At this stage, I personally recommend calling a professional.

oh, we had a swarm of ants just show up on the garage doorway once, they fucked off a couple of hours later before we could decide on a company to call to check it out. sometimes swarms just gonna swarm, I guess.
