Maybe I'm an idiot but I always find with guitar I need to listen too. Never been able to play guitar with sheet music like a piano.

Standard tuning means to tune your guitar from high to low: E, B, G, D, A, E. The note=140 means that the speed of the song is 140 BPM.

BPM stands for Beats per Minute. Use a tool called a Metronome to check this speed. The E-Gtr is just short hand for Electric Guitar.

Reading and learning music notation is an abstract concept. Never feel bad about asking for help. Ask any questions you need.

The way I remember it, Billie Jean is 116, Staying Alive, Another Brick In The Wall, about 100

...so “play” Billie Jean in your head, tap your feet to bass drum and snare, then play your song at that approx tempo
