What's your opinion on Transformers (2007)....??
Personally, this is the movie that got me into Transformers and I think it's one of the best Transformers movies ever. It's not perfect but comparing this movie to say something like the War For Cybertron Trilogy on Netflix, it's a lot better. Especially when you consider how Optimus Prime was portrayed in this movie.

I liked it. The later films were not so good but the first was fun.

Audio and Megan Fox was good
Worth having just for those two reasons

Not great, not terrible.

The score by Steve Jablonsky deserved to be in a much better movie.

Honestly I thought it was pretty bad. The allspark stuff was good, and the robots were ok (but awful to look at), but the human characters were cringe-incarnate. The new Transformers movie (Transformers One) is fantastic though, you should check that out if you haven't already. It looks "kids-y" but it's absolutely not.

Whenever the bots transformed it was hard to distinguish them. It seemed to me someone had a blueprint of how each single part of a 50 m fighting robot would fit into a small car after transforming, and so we got all these weird stuff to look at. I mean, the first cartoon series was a bit very simplistic, but this time they overdid it with details...

Bernie Mac, "Uncle Bobby B, baby!" is the only good part in the whole movie...

OG TF Fan here. Peeing, farting, masturbating all killed it for me, movie would have been far superior without all the toilet humour.
Wasn’t a big fan of the TF designs either and it seemed to get worse as the series progressed. Just way too much going on. The twins from the second movie? Was there a contest in elementary schools for worst design possible?
Checkout the original 1984 series/1986 movie, the movie fits in between seasons 2 & 3

It pissed me off because it made humans the main characters/focus and the Transformers the support/side characters. I mean I get it, star power and whatever, but imagine if they made a TMNT movie with the turtles as the sidekicks helping April and Casey kick the Foot's ass, instead of the other way around. Plus, the 2nd movie was stupidly racist for no reason.

Took the franchise in a direction I didn't like. It just felt crass. Ended up closing the door on that part of my childhood.

The transforming animation was mind blowing at the time. The car commercial part of it was distracting but I really enjoyed it as a teen.

Very meh of a film, agreed with another poster, the OST by Steve Jablonski was good (he does do good soundtracks for what are poor films). Micheal Bay explosions, check, long chase scene, check, but the overall film was quite generically written. .../checks writers; ah, that explains it.

Eh. I'm not a big Transformers fan, but it was some Big Robots Fighting. Woulda been better without ANY HUMANS in it imho

I went to see Big Robots Fighting, I don't care about Meghan Faux, but that's just me. Still enjoyed it and it's better than No Robots.

Is that the first one? Because if it is it was really good they all kinda went downhill after that.
