No they dont, spam literally costs them money. People were complaining about the spam filters being too strict, so theyre adjusting them right now. Yall acting like this is permanent, its gonna be like, 48 hours.

They're adjusting the spam filters, people are complaining that there's more spam, and freaking out thinking it's permanent. But what's actually happening is just a start blocking almost nothing and then block more and more to make sure no non spam stuff is blocked by accident, which people were complaining about last week.

(1/3) I was recently permanently blocked by Imgur for life and had all my 50+ public uploads deleted and was told that I would basically never be able to make a public post ever again, and they REFUSED to give me a proper answer as to what the hell I had done wrong for an entire month of me sending emails back and forth literally BEGGING them to tell just tell me what I did for them to do that to me. I practically had to drag it out of them...

(2/3) But then finally they gave me a proper answer as to why exactly I had been perma blocked for life. So what was their reason? I had uploaded a screenshot from a game once, and apparently that means I violated their "Good Sharing Practices" policy. And my immediate reply was simply: please tell me exactly where, ANYWHERE, it's stating in any of their guidelines or policies that you aren't allowed to upload screenshots from games....

(3/3) All I received after asking that was complete and utter dead silence from them, and they haven't responded to any of my emails since (probably because they can't actually point me to any officially stated rule against game screenshots, since it probably doesn't even exist). Sorry, but that's such bullshit.
