#19 aaaaand this is why I don't lane split unless the lanes are going the same speed. and even then, I never go more than 10mph faster than they're going

9 months ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 2

As a life-long cyclist, lane splitting is only smart if you like getting doored.

Removable mullion

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It looks like a removable frame for over head doors, maybe getting near closing time.

After it fell the first time he looked back up at the ceiling, as if to ask "how did that happen?" and then apparently shoved that thought completely out of his head.

Owner’s son syndrome look like to me. Not employable anywhere else any more.

9 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Looks like up put the support in upside down. There is a bit on the top that looks like it’s supposed to go into the hole in the ground.

9 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It's supposed to go there. You can see the mark on the floor it fits in, and presumably there is one on the ceiling that just isn't doing its job.

9 months ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 0

Yeah, and the idiot doesn't even learn from the first time that the top part didn't secure.

Sorry, it was just a fluff piece about how they were a bunch of buddies that were now a meme.

It’s a Laurel and Hardy slapstick. Good grief.

9 months ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

I have no idea what these words mean.

9 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Laurel and Hardy were a comedy duo who made slapstick comedy shorts in the silent and early sound era. Their shtick was very much like the Three Stooges.

9 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

They were a comedy duo in the 1930s.

9 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Oh, and in case 'slapstick' is a uniquely American term (which, when I look at the works around me, wouldn't surprise me in the least) it's just comedy derived from clumsiness or stupidity.

9 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Thank you. It makes sense now lol.

#15 yup that gator's likely dead thanks to these asshats. Visited a croc sanctuary once that had a sign that whatever you drop in the enclosure, you also fetch. It was there for this exact reason.

9 months ago | Likes 81 Dislikes 4

I don't think they dropped it on purpose.

9 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Prob not, but they likely took video of that gator on that phone, and after the phone dropped for whatever reason the other person starts recording in exactly the same way. They're laughing about it which means they're clueless about the consequences.

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Probably the phone had the person's smell on it...

They should've had one person make a nearby distraction to avert its attention while the phone owner just grab it quickly.

9 months ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

No, they shoulda wrastled it

I really like this genre. Can we make this a series? I’ve seen lots of fail posts, but not multiple fails. Big fan.

I love these ‘Fail posts’!! Correct me if I’m wrong though… have these Masters had to constrict their content to appease some PG grading or something?? It’s missing the occasional gore that I love.

While I've enjoyed following Uncle Sam a long time, you make a good point that @op put some real effort into curating a multi-fail dump and deserves a nod for that.

Too bad he didn't get to it before it hit the dog

9 months ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

I'm glad it didn't seem to bother the dog much. More of a "Huh? What was that?" sort of reaction. I'm more pissed that the dad started the pitching machine with the dog clearly in the line of fire.

9 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

looks like a golden i think. probably too dumb to feel it to begin with

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The dog didn't seem to give a fuck. Which is good! But damn. Three in a row

#9 - why do people ever pour gas out of the can directly? It’s amazing how stupid people are.

9 months ago | Likes 105 Dislikes 1

Yeah, that's asking for trouble. That jerry can has an anchored swivel cap on it. He should've grabbed a cloth, or even his shirt and then brought the lid down to secure it. But no, he picks it up and tries to toss it in the pool, but gets badly burned trying to do it, so it falls and sets the pool on fire. I was expecting the next thing to catch fire was the nearby car!

9 months ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

I'm willing to bet that alcohol was involved.

9 months ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 1

I'm sure there was alcohol involved.

I love people like this. They have provided me with some of my favorite fires in my career.

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't know, but I'm grateful they do.

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This would be diesel. Stupid enough. Petrol would have exploded.

9 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 6

Not necessarily, seen plenty of videos of gasoline doing exactly that.

Plus I have played with gas and fire a lot growing up. Like, a lot. And I start my bonfires with gas often ;)

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nah, that's not how either of those things work. Petrol vapour ignites readily, you can even see the fire flare up before any liquid hits it at the start, but it won't just explode. Diesel is quite difficult to light unless it's as an aerosol. I still wouldn't pour it on a fire, but I'm not even sure it'd light if you did. It's apparently possible to put a fire out with diesel, if you're careful. https://youtu.be/uA_cDQmElTI

9 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

"Surely this fire liquid won't catch fire."
...

9 months ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

The comedic timing on some of these is ridiculous

9 months ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

I don't know what was really supposed to happen in #3 but what DID happen was stellar.

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I really do not understand the foolish minds of people who get out of their vehicles without putting the transmission in park. It's so easy to do. It should be the first thing in your mind before exiting the vehicle.

The other thing that gets me is when some people are having an issue while parking, to just go on a rampage hitting everything around them. People like that shouldn't drive vehicles or operate dangerous machinery.

9 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

It's much easier these days. So many cars have automatic handbrakes etc. now, if you switch from that to another car it's easy to forget. Not excusing it, just understanding it.

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You mean if you come to a full stop, let go of the brake pedal, an automatic handbrake activates until you depress the gas pedal?

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No it activates either if I turn off the engine or open the driver's door. Always check it myself to be sure but it does it itself.

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's a good safety feature, but people should never treat it as a given. It's there for that rare case of serious distraction. It's like the blind spot indicators. I imagine some people only look at the light now, not what's reflected in the mirror. It won't catch vehicles 2 lanes over... which can also present a problem by lane changing at the same time you lane change.
