#19 aaaaand this is why I don't lane split unless the lanes are going the same speed. and even then, I never go more than 10mph faster than they're going
#11 i know there's lots of pain here, but this one made me flinch so hard I almost dropped my phone. Why tf is he putting that up there and why tf did he try again!?
After it fell the first time he looked back up at the ceiling, as if to ask "how did that happen?" and then apparently shoved that thought completely out of his head.
Laurel and Hardy were a comedy duo who made slapstick comedy shorts in the silent and early sound era. Their shtick was very much like the Three Stooges.
Oh, and in case 'slapstick' is a uniquely American term (which, when I look at the works around me, wouldn't surprise me in the least) it's just comedy derived from clumsiness or stupidity.
#15 yup that gator's likely dead thanks to these asshats. Visited a croc sanctuary once that had a sign that whatever you drop in the enclosure, you also fetch. It was there for this exact reason.
Prob not, but they likely took video of that gator on that phone, and after the phone dropped for whatever reason the other person starts recording in exactly the same way. They're laughing about it which means they're clueless about the consequences.
I don't quite understand what went wrong at first. Her pants split? But she was grabbing her butt like she was in pain. Maybe the harness wasn't attached right? That guy who was holding the rope is a real idiot!
From what I gathered they sat there on the road after the first minor accident, probably waiting for police or something dumb, then the storm came in while they were waiting there.
I love these ‘Fail posts’!! Correct me if I’m wrong though… have these Masters had to constrict their content to appease some PG grading or something?? It’s missing the occasional gore that I love.
While I've enjoyed following Uncle Sam a long time, you make a good point that @op put some real effort into curating a multi-fail dump and deserves a nod for that.
#5 Little dude saw his sister get hurt, took a hit to the head himself, and decided he'd had enough shit. It was time for vengeance. Mad respect, little dude, mad respect.
I'm glad it didn't seem to bother the dog much. More of a "Huh? What was that?" sort of reaction. I'm more pissed that the dad started the pitching machine with the dog clearly in the line of fire.
Yeah, that's asking for trouble. That jerry can has an anchored swivel cap on it. He should've grabbed a cloth, or even his shirt and then brought the lid down to secure it. But no, he picks it up and tries to toss it in the pool, but gets badly burned trying to do it, so it falls and sets the pool on fire. I was expecting the next thing to catch fire was the nearby car!
Nah, that's not how either of those things work. Petrol vapour ignites readily, you can even see the fire flare up before any liquid hits it at the start, but it won't just explode. Diesel is quite difficult to light unless it's as an aerosol. I still wouldn't pour it on a fire, but I'm not even sure it'd light if you did. It's apparently possible to put a fire out with diesel, if you're careful. https://youtu.be/uA_cDQmElTI
I really do not understand the foolish minds of people who get out of their vehicles without putting the transmission in park. It's so easy to do. It should be the first thing in your mind before exiting the vehicle.
The other thing that gets me is when some people are having an issue while parking, to just go on a rampage hitting everything around them. People like that shouldn't drive vehicles or operate dangerous machinery.
It's much easier these days. So many cars have automatic handbrakes etc. now, if you switch from that to another car it's easy to forget. Not excusing it, just understanding it.
That's a good safety feature, but people should never treat it as a given. It's there for that rare case of serious distraction. It's like the blind spot indicators. I imagine some people only look at the light now, not what's reflected in the mirror. It won't catch vehicles 2 lanes over... which can also present a problem by lane changing at the same time you lane change.

It's supposed to go there. You can see the mark on the floor it fits in, and presumably there is one on the ceiling that just isn't doing its job.

cytherians
You mean if you come to a full stop, let go of the brake pedal, an automatic handbrake activates until you depress the gas pedal?
TealcPI
No it activates either if I turn off the engine or open the driver's door. Always check it myself to be sure but it does it itself.
cytherians
