Updated app only has a gallery view. I have a small phone. I prefer seeing one post at a time and scrolling. Why did you turn this off and can it be added back as an option?

I was forced to update. For the last few days, I was getting around the forced update by forcing the app to quit 3 times until the required update message went away. Finally gave in, and now scrolling is horrible. Like you, I have a small phone. At least the browser version is usable, albeit so much worse than the older version of the app.

Oh and I had to reset my password because my account was linked to fb. And as soon as I do that, I login and get a message saying there was an old bug that had given me emerald access for way longer than had been intended by the promotion. I don't even know what that was allowing me to do. I guess I'll find out.

Exit the app, launch your Browser, select PC view. Select "Use old layout" on Imgur.

I cannot find the "Use old layout" option. I did like you said. I opened Safari and selected "Request Desktop Site", but I've tapped everywhere and cannot find any settings, let alone "Use old layout". How do you get there specifically?

In the upper right corner of the page you will see your username in text followed by the first letter of your username inside a colored circle. Click the circle once, then twice. A message should appear in the lower right asking if you want to use the old design.

OK. Thanks. I realized that it is refusing to show me the desktop version. I tried using the Opera browser, which is a little better for desktop versions of sites on mobile, but even though it showed me the desktop version, there is no circle next to my username at the top right. I poked around & the closest thing I could find was a drop-down on the top left next to "Imgur" that says "use new design". I will have to try an actual computer and see if I can access what you are talking about there.

I figured out how to coax iOS Safari to show me the desktop version. Making the text small & then requesting the desktop version did it.

Just checked on my computer. It's just not there. Either the option is device/os specific, it changed since you last saw it, or you have an early release beta version?

God damn - I found it! I really needed to read and re-read your instructions. It's the lower right of the entire window! That is some poor UI design, right there. HOWEVER - the app still displays in gallerry view mode! All that rigor for nothing. Do I need to reboot or something?
