For some reason this comic reminded me of those ocarina mask off memes

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

We have shitty stomachs that can only eat the weakest of plants, that's why.

I think I realised early that they probably were after a specific mineral found in the Caverns. Regular rocks don't have what they need.

Made an edit of this for a friend recently.

Someone show this to Arin Hanson

That's an unnecessarily aggressive retort to a simple question.

It's easily changed, edit the reply so it sounds like a mentor educating their charge.

You can eat wood, though. That's something you can do in the sword trials to get extra healing items. Cut down trees and cook them.

the problem here is I feel an actual goron wouldn't know hylians DON'T eat grass. gorons don't seem like they get out much in that game

7 years ago | Likes 58 Dislikes 1

well obviously sassy goron gets around enough!

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

actually didn't one of them offer you a rock to eat at one point?

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Nah, you'll find gorons all over. They're frequently travelers and real salt of the earth type folk.

7 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 1

There was an entrance to the lost woods literally in goron city and that dipshit wanted me to go find sariah's song for him.

7 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

They never get out of their mountain ranges until BotW unless forced.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 5

And while the creators recognize it it's not really a Zelda game. Not very zelda-y at all more like Ubisoft open world with a Zelda skin

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

There are gorons in wind waker.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well that's just incorrect. There are loads of travelers and merchants.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Okay, forgot the mailman and the one at the Zoras' in MM, the 8 in that cave in MC, in TP they get around and in SS they got no home, my bad

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Uh, i think we would if we were starving to death, well we would have when we still had the organ that does that working. (1)

7 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 6

We could start eating it, and odds are we would still die. Probably quicker. The human stomach can't break down grass. We'd it throw up

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Unless you ate tons of grass, it's more likely that your next poop would be a little grassier than usual.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It's more likely to cause diarrhea, meaning more fluid loss, and it has almost zero nutritional value, so it doesn't help you.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

We would try, and fail. They probably tried and failed

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Its much more like people refusing to eat eggs because they werent free range even when they are starving to death.

7 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 6

If our farms started failing, it would be a while before there was mass starvation. Our bread would not only become worse quality>

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Isn't this like, the beginning of Interstellar?

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

we cant eat grass at all. has to much fiber for us to digest and rocks have different firmness and hardness so its a pretty fair comparison

7 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 2

Actually not too much fiber, too tough with silica (sand) as part of the planit it is able to grind down our teeth.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

We have an organ, the appendix which when it was functional allowed us to eat grass.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 7

that's one theory might of let us eat bark or something else as well

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

But now we evolved out of the need for it, but haven't evolved the organ out.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0
