Will it not being plugged in all the way affect my pc performance? It shows up on my computer as a GTX 1060 6gb still and has no issues, just wondering because my case is kinda dumb and the side won’t slide in all the way. I can modify it if need be.

it can work, but little movements might bjork shit. best to fit it in completely or buy a pcie extension

It’ll work — but I wouldn’t chance it slipping out if you can help it. Because eventually it probably will.

That’s part of the Mobo in the way on the left side of the card right? Can’t you use another slot on the Mobo?
LlamaGodess
All the way on the left ya

Yeah, what the hell is going on there? Why would they put a cap right in the way of the gpu??
lRogueShadow
also the locks at either side of the card definitely won’t be engaged, so personally I wouldn’t want any graphic card partially connected :(

It runs Csgo at 110fps average and I’m pretty sure I should get a lot more lol

Merry Christmas and all ... but if you just wanted someone to confirm what you already think, then sorry, that’s not me. Change ports

I appreciate you just want to get gaming, but seriously. Look to rectify it ASAP. Just because it works, doesn’t mean it’s right.
LlamaGodess
It won’t slide in all the way because of my case
