Security door opened from outside with keypad, and then from inside with pressure plate. The main reason I like the pressure plate is that you don't have to flip a switch on to open the door, and then have to switch it off again as you are leaving. You simply stand at the door, and it automatically opens, then automatically shuts as soon as you exit.

Diagram of the wiring: This is viewed from the inside of the room (the room you want to be locked with a code). On the bottom is the pressure plate (basically a pressure switch that when stood on, is in the "ON" position, and when stepped off, is in the "OFF" position. This is our way of opening the door from the inside in order to exit the room.
The power source connects to 2 points, the pressure plate switch, and the blue box on the inside wall of the powered door (NOTE: this isn't a blue box switch that you add, it is part of the door already). You have to then run a wire from the pressure plate switch to the keypad of the door. It looks weird and I never would have guessed that this is what you have to do to make this door work from the inside (discovered it on accident while trying to jump), but it works. See the video below for attaching the wire.
Parts and where they are found in the build menu:
The "Powered Door - Keypad Access" can be found in the "Walls" section of CAMP building (toward the bottom for me) I believe the plan is purchase able from a vendor in Whitespring Mall but I could be mistaken, just double check on FO wiki.
The "Pressure Plate" and "Powered Speaker" can be found in the "Power Connectors" section of CAMP building. Can't remember where I got this plan, could be same place as the door. You can change the tone sound of the speaker with a "Terminal" also found in the "Power Connectors" section. The terminal just has to be connected to the same overall circuit that the door is on. For simplicity, I have mine connected directly to the power source that feeds power to the door / pressure plate.

Screen shot with labels. The powered speaker is optional. I added it for some extra effect. You would place this between the pressure plate and the keypad. Note: there are some wall / floor power conduits on the floor and wall. These are just to neaten up the wiring but obviously don't need to be exactly where they are in the picture, I just like to make things look neat.

What it looks like when the door is closed and the pressure plate switch is off (no one standing on it to open the door)

Standing on the pressure plate switch. Note the green light on the wall power conduit is on now sending power to the keypad which then opens the door from the inside.
Attaching the wire from the pressure plate to the door. First attach wire from the pressure plate, then walk outside and attach wire again while aiming at the keypad. This can be done from the inside of the room, but I found that it snapping to the keypad was not as easy as it was to just do it from the outside while aiming at the keypad, but it is possible as you can briefly see for a second it snaps to it at first in the video the first time at the beginning.
Note: In the video I am selecting a wall power conduit that is placed above the spot that the wire goes to in the wall to the keypad, and not the pressure plate, but the pressure plate is connected to this conduit. I put the conduit there to hide the wire to make it look neat so you can't tell it's just going into a wall and disappearing. You can move the conduit on the wall so that the wire from the conduit to the wall opposite the keypad is completely inside the conduit and makes it look like the conduit is part of the powered door itself.

If you use two powered doors spaced very closely together you can stop other players from photomode glitching through your door. They will get stuck between the two and be forced to fast travel away
