I'm super lucky to have my wife help with this but I'm learning. Wish resources like this were available everywhere (along with changing tables in the men's room)
(Most viral edit: Very cool! Send... whatever)

I have fond memories of the crooked braid my dad would do for me when I stayed overnight at his place.
Nunyajonesinc
A+ dad right there
AnonOmis1000
This frame rate is killing me
Redshadow09
I remember of a video of a dad vacuuming his daughters hair and on the nozzle was a band ready to tie up her hair (minumalist dude)
TsubakiTragic
Most fortunate, is the man with daughters.
Saxytimes
My parents just let me walk out of the house looking like Cathy from the comic strip
customcartoons
ACK!
AlmostHappy
Am woman with long hair, but I could use a course too.
fartalert
I can’t tell you how much it meant to me when my parents would take time to do my hair. Cherish your kids
LadyNetrex
trogdoorburninator
when wife and I first dated I jokingly started braiding her hair and she was absolutely blown away that a guy knew how, first of all, it's
trogdoorburninator
just rope tying like we did in boy scouts and I also had 3 sisters growing up. She asked me to learn French braid and now I do it for her
trogdoorburninator
too. Can't wait to have littles that ask me to braid their hair.
Atomic2
When I was in summer camp, the girls taught me to braid hair. Nobody knows I can do this. Now I have a daughter. I can't wait to one day>>
a0b1
Nice, I also learned, but have a short hair loving son
HotPieTheSnail
I learned that my husband can do this on our honeymoon. There was one night I drank too much and when I woke up my hair was braided. 1/
HotPieTheSnail
Apparently I was getting sick and complained that my hair kept getting I my face so he braided it quickly.
Here4daCats
A friend at work broke her arm, so I helped her braid her hair. She was forever grateful.
Atomic2
randomly braid her hair and just shock everyone. //
StarsetSkies
I wish I knew how to do more than a normal braid, but my hands always just fumble around instead lol
VInTheSkyWithElephants
Same. Two left hands with hair. Always keep it short because of that

Can’t do a braid in my own hair, I’ve tried. Can do a basic braid in others, as long as it’s in a ponytail first.
StarsetSkies
Yeah, others' is a bit easier 4 me too. I can do twisties, even fishtail. Just takes me forever bc skill issue. Hair just ain't my forte lol
VaultGirl69
I've asked my husband to start watching styling videos to do my hair before days with important meetings. ❤ Salon $$$ is wasteful
ButteryBiscuitBass
Real men!
jursamaj
"Real men" just do what needs doing.
FabergeBurrito
As a mom, I personally hate the idea that hair is a "mom job". I hated to do my girls' hair. But through practice, I can do like 20 1/
VInTheSkyWithElephants
As a mom, I have no idea how to do anything other than a ponytail. Tutorials have not helped—I have two left hands with hair
FabergeBurrito
Different types of braids. But I hated it & often just did a ponytail to begin with. Love that dads are becoming more involved!
fake40nedeso
You should see my face derailing when the staff at the daycare squickinly ask milady if mommy did her hair and/or nails … sexist cunts.
Peteybird1112
I learned how to do several different hairstyles for my girls and I hear that all the time. It’s kind of annoying but I wouldn’t call them(1
Peteybird1112
“Sexist cunts” for being born in a time where men had very little to do with their children other than being the disciplinarian
fake40nedeso
They are 16 to 35 y.o. I had it with women being part of the issue (sexism, gatekeeping and inequality) but getting away with it.

I wish I had a dad, he is still alive just not a dad just a dude my mom used to know
GemsAreOutrageousTrulyTrulyTrulyOutrageous
This is sweet and all, and honestly it's great, but good lord that framerate hurts. ><
jacblake
Next lesson, how to make a high frame rate gif…
TheFilesAreINSIDETheComputer
It’s interesting that although the frame rate doesn’t really impact the text, it still somehow makes it harder to read.
GemsAreOutrageousTrulyTrulyTrulyOutrageous
Exactly.
Hammertulski
The brain process for interpreting text is hijacked by the brain process trying to figure out motion and having a real tough time with that.
Daverson
¹When she was young, my daughter had blonde hair to her knees. I braided it every morning before going to work.
Daverson
²After I braided it for the last time on her 14th birthday, she had me cut the braid off. She donated it to Locks of Love.
glovelyday
I eventually learned to make a French braid when my daughter was little. She's grown now, but if ever needed I still have the skill.
fartalert
Hey friend - ask her if you could do it again just for fun. Might be an amazing revisit for both of you, even if they don’t show it
glovelyday
Wears it way too short these days, alas.
huffnpuff72
Don’t think I want changing tables in a men’s room. Rather have a ‘family room’ where any parent/guardian can take their kids
Daverson
Changing tables in men's rooms have been a thing for quite awhile, and they're awesome unless you like changing a baby in the car in winter.
blubberingbastard
While that's more ideal, a changing room should be a standard accessibility right. If it's in both restrooms, then any guardian can as well
PacMan4Life
The dad we needed, not the one we deserved
sadurdaynight
Everyone deserves a dad like this.

I finally have a case of lupus..

Look at her hairs root. It's lupus.
