Forcing people to unnecessarily work in the office will end up killing tens of thousands of people in the next pandemic. I guess that's the neat thing though, if you make an incompetent decision to protect corporate rental profits and it kills people, the dead people can't really sue you.
My favorite thing is to make my calls on speaker so they can hear all the noise of my work environment, i.e. tropical birds right outside my door. On that note, I think it should be a law that everyone in a company has easy access to a window, or at least daylight. I have no idea how that would be accomplished, but it's necessary for health reasons.
Hybrid is best I think. My housemate doesn't have an office she can go to and kinda just feels trapped in the house all day. As opposed to me, who can't work from home and is sick to death of both commuting and constant office chatter that doesn't let me think clearly.

I work outside, which is nice

My fat behind read that as waffle house at least twice before I used context to realize it meant work from home.

Not having to commute, wearing sweats, and being 20 seconds from my own bathroom and kitchen is a huge perk, not gonna lie.

If I was in any large of office of sorts, I can't see how I'd survive without my earbuds blaring the whole time

I'm pretty sure if I was forced to work in an office, I'd go feral
