And I can’t hold anyone accountable because my staff are all college kids either living on loans or with their parents. I need them more than they need me and they all know it. I’m also already short 3 on my headcount, there’s a whole shift I’m just not staffing at all. If I lose anyone else to quitting or firing, I don’t have enough people to keep the doors open the full hours.

And hiring and wages are one of the few things I don’t have control over, so I can’t fix the situation.

The dumb thing is I do care about the place, but what am I supposed to do when no one cares, and I have no ability to encourage them to care?
