In the last month I've received notifications from Disney+, Paramount Plus, Hulu, and Netflix that their prices are being increased.
It's worse now than cable ever was.

I got rid of all mine a few years ago. Netflix, amazon, HBO, the lot. Saved me hundreds and I haven't missed a damn thing

That's an over exaggeration. Subscribing to every major streaming service at once is cheaper than a mid tier cable subscription. And it's arguably better than cable because it's all on demand. And why would you subscribe to all of em at once anyway?

Subscribing to the ad free version of Netflix, Paramount+, Disney+, Apple TV, Hulu, Discovery+, Max, and peacock all at the same time is $108/month. Or $101/month if you do the Hulu/Disney+ bundle. My cable provider has three tiers of cable at $61, $115, and $152. Again I'll repeat, subscribing to every *major* streaming service at once is cheaper than a mid tier cable subscription.

Fair, you have better prices than me though for internet. I went the pirate route years ago and haven't looked back. Now my family and friends just watch everything on my Plex server for free
