Artstyle is neat, but I really can't stop being distracted by the legs and run/walk animation cycle, it looks so off, and sliding with knees bent for firing.. Let's just say I'd lean on not having legs but some sort of floating thing instead. :P

Fun fact: we actually changed the hero’s design just two weeks ago, so the animations are still very much a work in progress. I’m actively working on refining them to feel smoother and more natural!
I agree the legs look vry weird and unconsistent with the rest of the design, whih is really nice. Eliminating the legs completely and having the character float with those sort of green tentacles could give it a kinda squid/jellyfish look that would be really cool imho.
make the camera stay still when he dashes forward and then zoom back into place as the dash ends. give the player some perspective as to how much that zoom is giving them. otherwise if the camera follows perfectly behind, its easy to lose speed perspective.
