If I invest enough time can I get Hyperspin to sort games by categories like sports and top down shooter?

The hardware only represents a fraction of the time and effort compared to the software, so I wanted it to be unique and indicate the effort put in. Personally I felt like hyper spin just wasn't the way to go.that probably stems more from me wanting a unique product and then deficiencies with hyperspin but I still haven't seen a demonstration of hyperspin doing what gamex can do. Now I can see that if you wanted to sync enough hours into it it's potentially possible to achieve the same results but I couldn't confirm it prior to beginning the project. I'm talking about walk up and play using an intuitive interface that doesn't require the user to have knowledge about what software type was running the game they wanted to play. Never could figure out if hyperspin had the capability. I am super happy with game access ability to sort through categories and it does this seem to be the way to go if you have the time to set up every individual game. Easier said than done considering high-end arcade cabinets with a built-in cabinet are going for in excess of $6,000,
