#4 this was um... Formative in my youth.

4 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Because he was playing an immortal, James Masters decided not to age for 7 years while playing Spike. He's that good of an actor

I just realised tonight that Buffy is on disney plus.

4 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

And Angel, but Buffy is where it's at.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

20 years later and I still say Buffy and Spike were good together. Angel was way too Emo for my taste.

Spike is such a great character. Probably deserved a bit more comeuppance in the end, given how many murders he did, but very fun anyway.

4 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 0

He did die, but so did every other character at least once.

4 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

In the metaphysics of the show, I’m not sure if he’s culpable for the crimes he committed while not ensouled.

4 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

He returned in Angel gloriously in the end, so that was nice at least.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, and I liked him a lot I'm that, but that kind of ruined his self-scrifice...

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

His intentent was there, for me that's just as important. Tbh I see your point but I was just happy to see him again overall :)

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

One of the great OG anti-heroes.

4 years ago | Likes 54 Dislikes 2

Don't know if OG, but certainly one of the great indeed

4 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Star Trek the Next Generation was the first series where I watched every single episode. Buffy was the second

4 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Buffy and Firefly are still it for me (not that Firefly is much of an accomplishment on that front).

Hey- I went to high school with that guy (seriously!).

Say what? That would make you 258 years old? /s

4 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Whedon being an undercover shithead aside, this show had some brilliant writing.

4 years ago | Likes 76 Dislikes 2

A lot of the best writing is found in Whedon’s personal zero-hour rewrites. I felt like I was in mourning when the news came out about him.

4 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

Ugh same. This show was so fucking well done, it feels like my favorite puppy turned vicious.

4 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

If you liked buffy and haven't watched Lost Girl yet. I'd recommend it. When I first watched Lost Girl it gave me a lot of buffy vibes.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Let’s just pretend Sarah Michelle Gellar made Buffy, how about? ;)

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Not just her. They had a large, amazing team that worked together to make the show what it was. I think it's important to also value that.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well said.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Wait what did he do?

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

He was an abusive asshole. Charisma Carpenter came out about it earlier this year, and other actors and writers agreed.

4 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

I had read that he was also annoyed with Marsters for making Spike so likeable.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Was that why he made Spike into Angel 2.0? I personally liked Spike the best as the villain.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nie sure, but that's an interesting notion.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"'Casually cruel' is a perfect way of describing Joss," Molina wrote on Feb. 12. "He thought being mean was funny. Making female writers 1/2

4 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

cry during a notes session was especially hysterical. He actually liked to boast about the time he made one writer cry twice in one meeting"

4 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

"Whedon continuously made passive-aggressive threats to fire [Charisma], called her fat when she was four months pregnant, pitted (1/2)

4 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Also a fantastic Harry Dresden!

4 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

I hear Buffy it’s actually pretty good. T/F?

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

True. Very true.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I’ll be rewatching Buffy every few years til I die. They wrote the book on character development.

4 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Right! Even the minor characters! Look at Harmony! Spike and Dru were supposed to be short one offs. Darla...

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It can be campy, but it's really good if you enjoy a bit of supernatural monster hunting and crazy amounts of character development.

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

If Supernatural had payed more attention to continuity, it would have been the clear successor to Buffy.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

He's waaaayyy more interesting than Angel IMO

Me too,.midway through 4/1! Are you listening to Buffering? Highly recommend if you like the shoe and queer shit

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I was surprised how easy the musical episode was to sing along with literally the first time I saw it.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Damn, now I need to start a marathon. I already had DS9 on the schedule.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hulu, I believe they have Buffy and Angel’s series.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I used to watch Buffy and Angel with my mom. I'm hesitant to rewatch cuz she's been gone a while and idk if I can face that RN

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Just finished watching Buffy now I'm watching Angel

4 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

But but... They happen at the same time... Now you'll have to start over.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That is ok buffy is my favorite show

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

As it should be!

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You might like Lost Girl then.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Haha true! When I watched all the way through I found one of those episode timeline guides online and watched that way. It was pretty fun.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I just finished Buffy then Angel, about to start into the comics for the first time!

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Was debating watching it concurrently with Angel; need to write up (google) an episode timeline

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Never thought of that. I’ve only watched a little of Angel. Looking that up.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Looked it up.. a lot of lists posted. Starts at sea. 3. In the middle of 2 now. Totally doing it. Thank you.

Yep and that brought back repressed memories of Angel. Wesley/Fred/Illyria was a terribly sad story. Capped off by that final blow to the

…RedRaptor, you’re doing good work.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

If it's brute combat I'd put my money on cavemen. If they get to strategize before meeting up the naughts. XD

4 years ago | Likes 346 Dislikes 2

"Like a group of Aboriginies playing with a Starfury."

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If astronauts have to wear the 100kg space suit then cavemen win. If not, my money is on astronaut teamwork.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Astronauts have at least some chance of having martial arts training, and I think that could cancel out the strength difference in a fight.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

How muhh prep time does Batman get? Oh, shit, sorry, wrong argument.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's a deep Philosophical question.

4 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

That was not easy to read in the slightest

4 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

Believe me I know. Only one I could find that was not in separate panels

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I guarantee there is an episode in which Captain Kirk beats up some cavemen.

4 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I'd also bet money it looks like it was choreographed by someone who has only ever heard about a fight second hand.

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I'd also bet money that he beat at least one of them with his fists locked together and hammerhanding it

4 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Pretty sure the cave men might be around five feet nothing. Strong sure. I’m with the nauts.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

But they also fight for their own survival every single day. It says something if you’re an adult caveman

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah, but a gorilla won't even reach 4 feet, and they can pretty much pull your arm off and hit you with the soggy end. Height ain't all

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The gorilla has muscle weight to back up the shorter stature. Not cave man. But I have seen some crazy scary short men

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Bwahahahaaaa you've never met anyone from NASA and just to clarify the movies don't count. I still upvoted you though.

4 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 0

I have not, xD guess it shows

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

The 2 I've met with put rockets into space, can't say that's easy by any means. But they both could not change the batteries

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

In a calculator to save their life. While it was good fun to watch them try I will say that astronauts could change the batteries

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

But in a fight, even with the element of surprise. They are trained for years to condition to space. Not fighting. Still love the laugh man.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

We all have our gifts, wish we had more time to find it sometimes xD

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

No plan ever survive contact with the enemy.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Do the astronauts have a spaceship?

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Do the astronauts get to use the soviet bear defense shotguns?

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

No. Defeats the purpose of the question. Guns are an automatic win.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Do the astronauts have time to make a rudimentary lathe?

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Most astronauts have a modern military background, so I’m backing them.
