Finally found out what's living in the sandpit behind our house.
2 weeks ago, I was headed to the barn for evening chores when I heard a crescendo of chicken screams. When I got there I saw Elizabeth firmly planted between a nervous group of hens and this little bastard or one of his bastard relatives. Elizabeth was actively fighting this little bastard ( or one of his bastard relatives). As soon as I showed up the fox took off and Elizabeth collapsed onto the ground.
