It's a good joke. The premise (that "Israel hates children") is wrong. And, Hamas killed 40 children and about 1,000 others on October 7, 2023. But I get the point you're making, and in that sense the joke works.

The stats on that prove the "Israel doesn't hate children" thing pretty objectively incorrect. Of the 50'000+ killed in Gaza alone, over 20'000 have been children, with most major news outlets, Palestine AND EVEN ISRAEL ITSELF declaring that strikes, assaults (both sexual and violent), hostage-taking by Israel and Israel's use of human shields has specifically and explicitly targeted children. Even its own soldiers have bragged about being TOLD to target children by upper command.
