Thank to to everyone for your support and humor. Labral tear turned out to be a complete tear, and when moving my bicep from the pectoral area, the stitch slipped and he had to open me up to retrieve the muscle.

Pray for my wife because I apparently come out of sedation like a caffeinated crack addict!
