Ecobee3 lite High Temperature Alert (92 degrees F)

Reached 102 degrees F under ecobee 3 lite control. Details are below.

if anyone has suggestions as to the problem, please let me know.

Emailed the imgur link to support@ecobee.com along with a brief description. Should be interesting to see how long it takes for them to respond.

Ecobee has good ideas and would like to use them. However the Furnace turning on continuous while I wasn't there was very scary. Reached 102 degrees F. What if I had not had temperature monitors, to alert to return early?

Lennox Furnace turned on at 4AM and stayed on continuous.
Reached 102 degrees Fahrenheit before I returned and shutoff ecobee 3 lite.

Ecobee did respond, a month ago, and pointed out the thermostat was misconfigured. Equipment lists "boiler", should list as Furnace.

For the past months, have been using original dump thermostat from Honeywell. It works.

I have a high efficiency two stage gas furnace, and wish to use its capabilities. Plan is to replace the three (3) conductor cable in the w

.... in the wall with a seven (7) conductor cable style 18/7. Then reinstall the Ecobee 3.

Meanwhile looked at entry level Google nest thermostat. It does NOT have W2 or Y2 connections, so it is not ideal for a two stage furnace.

Entry level Google nest depends on internal Furnace control logic to implement two stage operation. IMO, best if thermostat does that.
