I have this fear of her nail falling into the dish don't judge me.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What guts me is how many of these videos start with "this is better than [absolute trash chain fast food place]". Christ almighty. Is that your only frame of reference?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

preparing food with long fingernails is fucking disgusting

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

If you need that much sauce to eat it maybe it’s not good fish

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Cheese with fish gross

Oh My COD!!!!!!!!

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

McDonalds knock off? Looks like it

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Isn't the file-o-fish made out of ground stuff?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Toast your buns people.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I love frying food but hate disposing if the oil when I’m done.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Get an Air Fryer

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Burn it with your used car tires to keep warm in the winter. Recycling.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

LOL

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Eat 2 of those and you’re calorically covered for a day and a half.

2 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 1

As a European: she somehow sounds black and I can't explain it. Which made me start wondering precisely what "black" sounds like. Err, help?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Looks like the best Filet-O-Fish ever.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Dear sweet Marine Fish GODS!! my family and I are headed to NFLD for the ground Cod fish season this July!! This is Glorious. +++++

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Gimme all that

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yeah, I’ll believe they’re any good when the video actually shows a cross-section of the inside or someone actually eating one. Tired of seeing videos from people who clearly don’t know wtf they’re doing in a kitchen just claiming a recipe is “10x better than____” with nothing but food styling to back it up

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

“You’ll make this dish every day!”

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Cheese? On a fish sandwich? Fucking gross

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 6

Cheese elevates every dish you pleb

Cream cheese on salmon. Very acceptable. And delicious. American on fried cod? Nope

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

love me some fried cash on delivery

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Everything looks good EXCEPT the amount of tartar sauce. I like to actually taste the fish!

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

Bacalhau!

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It’s spelled OCD.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Why not go alphabetical... CDO

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I did think it was odd to call it cash on delivery.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I've never really fried anything like that... how do you dispose of the oil after? Seems expensive.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Try an air fryer for such things

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My name is Chris and I do have one

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But it's not the same :( not that I need it either way..

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I let it cool then store in air tight container until I need it again

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

You store it and reuse, so you get a lot of use out of it. Eventually it goes in a container and into the garbage. Never pour it down the drain.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Would you like some fish with that tartar sauce?

2 years ago | Likes 382 Dislikes 15

Maybe

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Go all in - put sauce on the top bun as well!

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

No tartar for me

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No.

2 years ago | Likes 89 Dislikes 2

I said good day SIR!

2 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Came here to say EXACTLY that. 🤣

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's the right amount of tartar for me. I'd go for a better bun and real swiss cheese, maybe with a side of pickles and fermented cabbage.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

2 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

The bukake special.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No just the tartar sauce for me thanks

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just let her enjoy her fish. Jeez. Looks fine to me.

2 years ago | Likes 59 Dislikes 15

You mean man-maids?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Tartar bukkake you mean.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Was wondering why they were showing a fish sandwitch from MC D's with all that sauce, then I realized the fish part looked good to eat.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I have literally dipped french fries in tartar sauce and that's far too much tartar sauce.

2 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 7

Your acting like dipping French fries in tartat sauce isn't normal

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Too… much… tarter…? Impossible! Plus she made it, so if she likes it, more power to her!

2 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 3

Hey eat your sandwich how you like, but if you post it on the internet it's gonna get opinions, and that's an absurd amount of mayo!

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

I will face the peril

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Tbf it looks like it's mostly mayo and lacking any other seasoning beside a tsp of relish and a pinch of dried dill, so you'll need a lot more to get any of the flavor

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Are those American cheese slices?

2 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 8

Looks like cheddar. American doesn't get that greasy weird texture. It's far more melty

2 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 1

No they look Australian. Due to the fact they are upside down.

2 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

That cheese has gone translucent, fake chese slices look like opaque orange paint until the second they burn

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

I love that you recognized the american cheese as fake cheese. Nice.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 5

There’s Kraft American *cheese product* and then there’s actual American cheese.

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 5

europeans rarely see anything but 'american' processed cheese products because real american cheese is made to standards europe doesn't like

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

so it's rarely if ever imported here

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It’s still two different things though. Y’all can downvote me but I’m not wrong. This is silly.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

we know, but as an international product, 'american cheeese' means processed cheese, because only processed american cheese gets much export

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why wouldn’t you mix the eggs and hot sauce and spices together first *then* put the fillets in there?

2 years ago | Likes 220 Dislikes 1

You would if you weren't making a TikTok video. Lots of fish could get broken up this way

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And here to say this.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

its amazing how people who don't know what they are doing are now educating people (incorrectly) about how to do things. Its a bit of a worry actually.

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I would hardly call sharing a recipe "Educating"

What's life without a little rule bending ;)

2 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 14

It’s not rule breaking it’s just stupid.

2 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 5

Yeah, but they've got a point.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah what the hell... why would you mix the eggs up with FILLETS?

2 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 2

makes the cornmeal stick. Soaking in buttermilk for a little is a much better choice for fish, though

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is why I can't upvote this. The recipe looks good, but the execution is terrible.

2 years ago | Likes 109 Dislikes 5

But clearly it worked, so does that really matter?

2 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 8

Kinda does, you gotta beat those eggs with your spices first so you can keep everything evenly distributed and make sure what you're frying doesn't stay in the wash too long. Too long in the wash or too long in the coating and you're gonna end up with a soggy mess. So it's good to have everything ready so you can get it in the oil as fast as possible.

2 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

Cheese. On fish?

2 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 4

I can't get behind cheese on fish or chicken. It's an affront to god.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 8

Chicken pizza and or sub is absolutely amazing. Cheesy sauce and fish is popular in some parts of the world.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

*Alfredo sauce stops*

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Sorry should have been more specific: cheese on fried chicken sandwiches.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Try blue cheese dressing nstead of tartar sauce for a pleasant change-up.

2 years ago | Likes 55 Dislikes 14

Oooo that sounds delish. Will try!

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I like this idea and will try it next, my go to is horseradish normally

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A tiny bit of horseradish, blu cheese crumbles, and a little sauerkraut. It's my goto for burgers and fish, but the GF forbids me from talking at her after due to the smell

To quote my cheese-loving father; the worse it smells, the better it tastes.
