While cleaning/dusting my desktop, my dog launched his ball at it somehow, damaging the graphics card. Desktop crashes entirely each time I load a game up. Decide to save up and replace it with a new one since it’s been years since Ive upgraded. Found one for $280 on Amazon, and with the protection plan came out to about $305. Saved for over two months and went to buy it, but the sale ended and now will be about $400 with the protection plan. Guess I have to wait a few more weeks…

At least it’s not $800 like I’ve seen others go for.

The real "black Friday" is after new years. You'll get a better deal after the holidays anyways.

gpu sales are down 30%, you will have more sales or buy used.

On the bright side it happened now, in between Black Friday and Boxing week. Should be back on sale in 2-3 weeks instead of a couple months.

I thought I was lucky to get a new unused 3080ti at MSRP. My friend bought the same one after me but it was used. He got a 1070 instead.

You got boxing day sales, January sales, and March "we just released all the new crap" sales coming up.

If you live near enough to a microcenter, you can get a 1660 Super for under $300. I have a 1660 TI, and it's been great. The super is the

Best advice is to keep looking until you hit your price. I settled for a Radeon 6600 recently when I found it for $189 on Newegg.

I would have preferred something a little beefier, but I also didn't want to spend $300 on a card I don't *really* need.

3 or 4 weeks and there will be another sale. Just hold your horses a moment

My advice: get a 1650 Super or something else cheap to have as a back up, use it while you save for something better. >>

Even cheap cards are very capable nowadays, just don't try to run at 4K Ultra settings.

I’ve got a 1660 super and it runs everything at 60-140 frames on 1080p…. More than adequate
