Where do we get those mini switches in America?

I ordered from Japan via ebay and Aliexpress. Google for Tarlin Capsule toy palm network etc. You need 4 to get full rack. The server is rare. Easiest to get as a part of a bundle.

If your ethernet infinitely loops, have you captured the spiteful electric pixies, or have you crystalized the optical faires?

Gotta grow your Spanning Tree to Defeat the Pixies and Faries

Instructions unclear: Attacked fairies and pixies with a spanner. Now trapped in a rack cabinet.

I like that Castle Grayskull has a server room. When do the patch panels arrive?

11 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No no no. I see the problem. You're not using a UPS. Or at least that's what the project manager told me is wrong as I'm in the process of fixing the actual issue.

DNS is the thing that makes it so you can remember “imgur.com” instead of 199.232.196.193

As you might imagine if you get that number wrong some weird shit can happen

11 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Neat! I still don't really understand what the joke is, though!

In the IT world when computers are not able to communicate, DNS is very frequently the culprit. It’s really not that funny unless you’ve lived it, so I understand

Ahhhh

It's. Always. DNS. Source: 25 years in the IT field fighting DNS.

It's only DNS half the time at most. The rest of the time it's users. The worst is when it's users and DNS working together to mess things up.
