All needed is just an eraser and soft brush

use eraser, gently rub agains the pins, do not cross rub, rub according to the pins, one at a time.

I couldn't be arsed to put this much effort into a cheapo LAN adaptor. I'd just buy a fresh card.

Could work, but with desktop computers, I generally prefer to avoid dongles if possible. It just feels better and looks better.
