From my childhood, the CBS Special Presentation intro meant good stuff was on the way, like Charlie Brown specials and Christmas specials. This was the first thing that I wanted to remake in HD enough to learn to use After Effects, and a day later here I am.

Here's the original text for those of you other old people, reworked to HD quality.

Audio (for both here) was remastered from the original music that an audio engineer chopped up with tape and a razor blade to make the fanfare, because there weren't any high quality copies floating around the net, just VHS captures to YouTube.
